In this section you will find all the necessary information about the status of the seller on Ovoko platform.
The seller's status is determined by indicators that are extremely important for quality assurance. Every seller has the right and opportunity to receive the highest rating of the platform, except in cases where the rules of the platform are violated. Please read the information below.
What statuses can a seller have on the platform?
- Top seller status (effective from December 1, 2023)
- Standard status
- Below standard status (effective from April 1, 2024)
What are the requirements? (We only count seller fault returns and cancellations)

What are the benefits for Top Seller status?
- Additional visibility on the platform, a status badge is visible next to the seller's name
- Priority service of support by e-mail (in future we will include phone line as well)
- Additional package insurance when packages are damaged due to the fault of the couriers
What are the penalties for being below standard?
Sellers who will have this status on the platform will have to pay an increased success fee, currently it is 10% of the price of the product without VAT, if it is below the standard it will be 15% of the price of the product without VAT. If the seller fails to improve the status within 3 months of the status change, his account and display of goods on the platform may be suspended indefinitely.
Does only one of the indicators count or do I have to meet all metrics?
In order to receive Top Seller status, your account must meet all 4 requirements.
A seller's status drops to "Below Standard" when at least one of two metrics, the percentage of returns or cancellations, is exceeded.
When will these changes take effect?
The planned renewal of the contract and the entry into force of the changes is June 1, 2024.

How do I know the status of my account?
If your account is "Top Seller", you will see it by logging into the system and checking the badge next to the company name.
If your account is below standard, you will receive an additional letter at the beginning of each month with this information, and if your status changes, you will also receive an additional information letter.
Also, account status will be visible in the monthly newsletter.
