We’re introducing the Ovoko Wallet — a real-time earnings account that will replace the current monthly manual payout process. Before it goes live for you, you need to authorize Ovoko to manage your wallet through our payment partner, Mangopay.
Why is this step needed?
To manage your wallet on your behalf — collecting earnings, applying fees, and processing refunds — Ovoko needs your explicit authorization through Mangopay, our licensed payment partner. This is a one-time step and once completed, you won't need to repeat it.
How to activate your wallet
Step 1 — Go to the Finance section
Log in to your Ovoko account and click Finance in the left-hand menu. Alternatively, click the banner on your Home page to start directly from there.
Step 2 — Start the process
A pop-up will appear explaining the authorization step. Click Continue to proceed to Mangopay.
Step 3 — Complete authorization on Mangopay
You'll be redirected to a secure page from Mangopay — Ovoko's licensed payment partner. Look for "Powered by Mangopay" at the bottom of the page.
You'll be asked to:
- Confirm your email address
- Set a 6-digit PIN (used for future wallet actions)
- Add your phone number
You'll also need to accept Mangopay's Terms and Conditions.
Step 4 — Return to Ovoko
You'll be redirected back to Ovoko automatically. You're done.
Your wallet will become accessible once the new payments system goes live for your market. You'll receive a separate notification when that happens.
What you'll get with the Ovoko Wallet
Your earnings appear in your wallet within seconds of each sale. You'll see exactly which fees were applied to each transaction, and withdraw funds to your bank account on your own schedule.
Your wallet shows two balances:
Pending balance — funds reserved from recent sales, covering any open returns. Moves to Available within 7-8 days of delivery.
Available balance — fully settled funds, ready to withdraw. Refunds come from your pending balance — your available funds are never affected.
Frequently asked questions
Who is Mangopay? Mangopay is a licensed electronic money institution regulated by the Luxembourg financial authority (CSSF). They provide the payment infrastructure that powers the Ovoko Wallet. Accepting their Terms and Conditions is a legal requirement of using the service.
Is the Mangopay page safe? Yes. The redirect is expected — Ovoko sends you there as part of the authorization process. You'll see "Powered by Mangopay" at the bottom of the page.
I clicked "Later" — how do I come back to this? Go to Finance in the left-hand menu at any time to restart.
When will my wallet go live? The wallet is rolling out market by market. You'll be notified when it's live for you. Completing authorization now means you'll have access as soon as it does.
What happens if I don't complete authorization before my market goes live? Your earnings will still be collected, but funds will remain in your pending balance and cannot be moved to your available balance or withdrawn until authorization is complete.
I completed the steps but nothing has changed — is that normal? Yes. Authorization doesn't immediately change anything in your account. The wallet activates when the new payments system goes live in your market.
I ran into a technical issue — what should I do? Try refreshing and starting again from the Finance tab. If the issue continues, contact your Account Manager or submit a support request.
