INTRODUCTION
Proper packaging of the shipment is very important to ensure safe transportation. The packaging, that is not proper, will not ensure the safe delivery of the product, the contents may be damaged.
In this case, the customer who bought the product will have a bad experience, the parcel will be returned, the service provider does not assume responsibility for damages in those cases. It is also important to mention the materials used, you must not use waste or other packaging materials not intended for this purpose.
In the following examples, we will clearly and briefly state what basic requirements your shipments must meet. If requirements will be ignored, please be aware that you can be subject to actions in contact annex No. 3.

Use only proper packaging and shipping materials for sending goods. It is strictly forbidden to use any materials not intended for packaging and shipping, e.g. car thermal insulation, sound insulation, seat materials, clothing, etc. Suitable materials are cardboard boxes, pouches, courier envelopes, padded envelopes, pallets. Do not try to hide such markings under black film, as the customer may use the same box for returns and not hide the markings. Such shipments are stopped, as a result of which their delivery takes longer, and may be charged additionally.
FILLING OF PACKAGES
It is strictly forbidden to use any materials that are not intended for the filling of product packaging, in most cases, sellers use sound insulation, seat padding or other waste. This is not a packing material! For filling the contents of the packages, you must use only the materials intended for this purpose: bubble wrap, padding corn/peanuts, foam sheets or packing paper, recycled cardboard boxes, examples are below.

SHIPPING PALLETS
One of the biggest mistakes when shipping on EURO pallets is that the contents of the shipment stick out beyond the pallet, this is a bad practice. You also need to make sure that the goods are attached to the pallets, you cannot just throw them on the pallet and give it to the courier, this is against the rules of the carriers. If such cases result in additional charges from the carrier, we will apply them to the seller who shipped the item.

MAIN RULES
The given examples reflect the main problems of improper packaging by sellers, we understand that sometimes you may not have the necessary materials or the best solutions for packaging, but we see very bad practices when goods are sent completely without following general rules, fragile goods are wrapped in film, engines are sent unsecured and full of oil, goods stick out from under the pallet. These are basic requirements for parcels and we want every participant of the platform to understand them. As an intermediary between the seller and the buyer, we must ensure compliance with such rules. We ask you to pay more attention to the packaging of the parcels.
MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS FOR DIFFERENT COURIER SERVICES
Please note these dimensions, if package you prepare exceeds them, they will probably be subject to penalty fees as well as package could be returned back to you without reaching customer. If you notice that package is exceeding given dimensions or weight, please contact Ovoko sellers support and let us know, so we could change courier service if possible.

SHIPPING SUPPLIES RECOMMENDATIONS
As we worked with sellers closely for many years, we have some good practices and recommendations for buying shipping supplies. Of course each seller might have their own solutions and we support that as long as that solution is suitable for shipping. Please check the most popular examples and recommendations.
CARDBOARD BOXES TYPE
When choosing boxes, please always consider the thickness of the cardboard walls, this is a very important factor for packing heavy items as well as bulky items, thin boxes are not suitable for car parts. C wave and BC wave boxes are usually the best ones for car parts packing applications.
CARDBOARD BOXES SIZE
Those are the most popular packing boxes size examples, you can use them as a guidance when you purchase supplies.

SIZE (CM) | 32 X 21 X 13 | 25 X 20 X 20 | 41 X 19 X 17 | 65 X 30 X 37 | 45 X 30 X 30 |

BOXES FILLING
There are few variations of boxes filling, to keep the parts from moving inside the box and protecting it. Best solutions for car part applications are bubble wrap for lighter items, shredded carton boxes for more heavy parts as well as foam inserts or foam peanuts. Here are some examples of them.
