Prepare and dispatch an order
Every order has a dispatch deadline. Orders that miss it count as Overdue Dispatch Rate.
Go to Orders → Awaiting dispatch. Orders due soonest are at the top.
Open the order and work through its preparation checklist: pick the part, pack it to our shipping and packaging rules, and enter the parcel dimensions.
Click Shipment prepared, then request a courier with Request couriers at the top of Awaiting dispatch, or set a regular pickup schedule there.
See how to prepare and dispatch an order for each step. For boxes and fillers that fit car parts, see Ovoko Pack.
Add packing photos to the first 5 orders
Your account manager checks how your first orders are packed, so packaging problems get fixed before a part arrives damaged. Add the photos in the Photos step of each order. After the first 5 orders, photos are optional, but you need them to claim package insurance if a part arrives damaged (see Returns below).
Answer buyer questions
Buyers often ask about a part before they buy. Their messages arrive in chat: open it from the chat icon in the top bar, where each conversation is tied to a part. Buyers can also send an offer, which you accept, decline or counter right in the conversation. See how Make an offer works.
Returns
Some parts come back. Knowing the rules up front keeps returns from costing more than they should.
When a return arrives, you have 2 business days to confirm or dispute it. After that, it's confirmed automatically. See what to do when a return arrives.
See the return policy.
Ship in an Ovoko Pack box, or reach Top Seller, and parts damaged in transit can be covered by package insurance. See additional package insurance.
Get paid
Until Ovoko Wallet is live in your market, sales are paid out every 10 days and our service fees come on a monthly invoice. See how payouts and the service invoice work.
Ovoko Wallet is rolling out market by market. Once it's live in yours, your earnings are paid into it and you withdraw when you choose. Set it up now, so you're ready the day it launches: see how to set up Ovoko Wallet and how Ovoko Wallet works.
One thing to know from your first sale: cross-border sales come with OSS VAT rules. See what to know about OSS and VAT.
Seller programme
The seller programme rewards sellers who dispatch on time and keep cancellations and returns low. Top Sellers rank higher in search results, get a badge buyers see before they open a listing, and get additional package insurance. Your tier is based on these metrics, assessed monthly:
Seller Cancellation Rate
Seller Return Rate
Refunded Dispute Rate
Overdue Dispatch Rate
See the seller programme for the thresholds and how status is calculated.
