Buyer–Seller Chat Is Now Live on Ovoko
We’re thrilled to introduce a new way to connect with your buyers — Buyer–Seller Chat is now available on Ovoko! This feature makes it easier and faster to answer buyer questions, share information, and close more sales — all directly within your seller account.
What Is Buyer–Seller Chat?
The new Chat feature allows direct communication between buyers and sellers across all Ovoko marketplaces.
Buyers can start a conversation from any marketplace:
ovoko.pl, rrr.lt, ovoko.fr, ovoko.fi, ovoko.it, ovoko.es, ovoko.de, ovoko.ro — and you’ll receive the message instantly in your Seller Portal.

Where to Find It
You’ll find a new chat icon 💬 in the top right corner of your Seller Portal. This icon shows a notification badge indicating how many chats have unanswered messages.
Inside the chat window, you’ll also see notifications for unread messages within each conversation, so you can stay on top of all communications.

Share Images and Documents
Need to clarify something about a part? You can share images and documents directly in the chat. This makes it easy to confirm part conditions, show details, or provide additional documentation when buyers ask questions.
Automatic Translation Between Languages
To make cross-border sales easier, messages are automatically translated between the buyer’s and seller’s preferred languages. If you want to see the original message, simply click “Show original messages” inside the chat window.
Who Has Access to Chat
Currently, the Chat feature is available only to users with Company Owner and Manager roles within seller accounts. Other roles do not have access yet — this ensures messages are handled by those responsible for customer communication.
Response Time Recommendation
We kindly ask all sellers to respond to buyer messages within 24 hours. Quick replies help build trust and improve your chances of completing a sale.
